That's true, and not everyone knows that. I think I need to see Daniel outside of his office and talk about absolutely nothing important to disguise that. Oh. That was a big mistake there, hon. What'd she say?

I only ever met her in the library when I had sticky hands! Of course I was cranky! Oh. I mean, I am, after all. I'm not smiling right now about that either.

You could make a big fuss of talking about how Uncle George was asking about him? Perhaps? I was having Issues at the time. Big, Charlie-shaped issues. And she said that at least now she understood why I don't act like a typical teenager

I tried to tell her that you weren't normally cranky! At least she doesn't think I'm dating Daniel now.

Right outside his classroom. Loudly. And cheerfully. It would be funny, at least. Oh. Are you--okay about that? And you don't, but then again, neither do Sam or I, so I don't notice that.

Did she believe you? And that's very sweet of you to defend me to the magic teacher. I don't mind that you told her. And I really am smiling about it.

I'll bring my camera. Fine. I think. Parker's offered me an ear, and I think I'm going to take her up on it. She's someone I can tell the whole truth to, but she's not one of us, y'know? None of us do really. Which is hardly surprising.

You wouldn't! We could e-mail the pictures to Teal'c. I'm sorry. Still. Even if it means I get you all to myself. Parker's a good person to talk to. And I'm here too, if you ever want. Not surprising at all.

Because I'm really not cranky all the time. I know you would. And I appreciate it. It's nice. To have that to smile about.

You can watch me struggle with writing. Those metaphors every week in ACJ just killed me. You'll have to tell me how the leadership seminar goes. I was thinking maybe that for the second summer session. No, I'm alone. We have a balcony.

I'm not exactly great at writing myself. Academics I'm fine with. The more creative side? Not so much. I will do. You can tell me about the wilderness one. I've not really thought ahead to the second session yet. Nice. Where's the ship at now?

Academic writing is a totally different thing, but we have to do creative writing in this. I don't do creative writing. Why'd I sign up for this again? You'll like Admiral Harrington, I think. I get to sun on the balcony. And we're on our way to St. Thomas.

Good. Because it's not fair if I blush and you don't. I know. Me too. Especially because I did buy that dark purple bikini.

Very nice. Classics was better when you were in there for Foreign Lit. Don't tempt me. But I do think I'll just lie out here in the sun for a bit longer.

Oh, I really hope not poetry. I hated having to do that haiku lesson for foreign lit. And you get away with a lot. I don't know. Florida? California? Somewhere where it's warm and sunny.

It took me an entire lesson to come up with the three lines that I did. And the first two lines I stole from another poem. At least we both get away with it, right? I think I might do, yes.
