Despite having been raised in New England, Elizabeth didn't really like snow. It was fine for skiing, say, but she was quite happy staying inside in the warmth and watching the snow from her window.

One might accuse her of hiding, but she'd prefer to call it strategic concealment.

Elizabeth returned to her room happily ladden down with books. Lots and lots of books.

She'd also grabbed the post on the way up, and idly wondered what Janet had ordered from Logitech. She dropped the box on the bed and moved to the bookshelves, ready to reorder them.

Elizabeth had opened a bottle of wine this evening,

Her day had started out very good indeed [[link nws]]. Later? Less good, although she didn't know why that had affected her so much. Tired and not enough coffee she supposed.

And as for the argument? The less said about that, the better. Although she was feeling so guilty about that. She needed to apologize, but just didn't know how. She wouldn't be surprised if Janet didn't even want to listen to her.

Going to the gym had helped take her mind off things. She met "English" Peter, and had discussed the current world political formation and the violent history that had existed between his time and hers and is still being played once I get some brainpower back.

Visiting the first floor lobby, she had been impressed with amount of shirtless boys. Parker definitely deserved her shoes for that. She'd got a couple of great shots of Jack topless and they'd discussed Jello and pudding wrestling and how they could take it on the road.

But the fun and lightheartedness couldn't last. She'd said goodbye to Angel, and the only tears had fallen when she had gotten back into the room. After washing her face, she'd headed back out only to find out that Logan was leaving too.

Elizabeth sighed. She knew changes had to come. But that didn't mean that she had to like them.

After Charlie's visit, Elizabeth tried to concentrate on her homework to little avail.

She half-considered heading to Molly's party, but she didn't think that being happy and mingling with people was really for her at that moment.

Half-heartedly, she picked up a copy of the UN Chronicle and flicked through it.

Elizabeth was working on her dream journal.

If by working, you meant, sitting staring at a blank page wondering what calamities were currently befalling her the city.

She had a desire to get drunk. Very drunk.

After all that time, wishing that she could remember what had happened to her during that time, she now wanted to forget again.

Even if it was just for a night.
