Elizabeth might have already been for a short walk this morning. But this walk was for the purpose of seeing what she could photograph for her workshop and Janet was coming with.

So, after the fun at the beach workshop, she headed back to the cabin to pick up her camera once more.

"Right, yes," Elizabeth said breathlessly, leaning in for another brief kiss as she passed Janet on her way to her chest of drawers, kicking off her Skechers and undoing her jeans as she went.

Janet started rummaging in the drawer of her nightstand for a box opener, finally emerging with a pair of scissors instead. She knelt down on the floor and sliced open the packing tape. "Here we go," she said, pulling a couple of items out of the box and putting them on her nightstand.

"Well?" Elizabeth asked, turning around in just the sarong as promised.

"Wow." Janet blinked. Then she glanced down at her plain blue t-shirt. I feel underdressed. Or overdressed. Or something. Could you just come over here, please?"

"Overdressed. Definitely overdressed," Elizabeth said, moving across to stand back in front of Janet. She fingered the hem of her shirt.

"Some day I'm definitely going to dig my lab coat out of the back of my closet," murmured Janet, leaning towards Liz.

"I'm really hoping someday's really soon," Elizabeth whispered, lifting Janet's shirt.

"How soon do you want it to be?" asked Janet.

"Well, not right now," Elizabeth replied, taking a step closer.

Janet's shirt fell to the floor in a whisper of cloth. "No. Because that would take time. And then you'd have to convince me I wouldn't look silly." She reached out to take Liz's hands and pull her closer.

"Honey, you'll never look silly to me," Elizabeth assured her, leaning down to brush her lips against Janet's.

Janet smiled and backed up until they were at the edge of her bed. "You're sure about this?" she asked, glancing down at her nightstand.

Elizabeth followed her glance, biting her lip slightly before nodding firmly. "Absolutely."

"So who's going to, um--" Janet blushed a little. "Get the handcuffs put on first?" She sat down lightly on the bed and scooted back so she was leaning against the wall.

Elizabeth blushed herself, sitting and moving next to Janet. "Um. I don't know. It was your idea; you can choose."

"Would you mind? Going first, that is." Janet glanced over at Liz. She leaned against Liz.

"Okay then," Elizabeth whispered softly.

Janet tilted her head and leaned over and up to press a gentle kiss to Liz's mouth. "If it helps," said, grinning wryly. "I've been known to use medical restraints quite safely before now."

Elizabeth giggled slightly. "Not for the same purposes, I'd hope!"

Janet shook her head. "Definitely not." And, thinking of who she'd had to use them on, she shook her head again. "Absolutely not. No. Never."

Elizabeth just raised her eyebrows, before leaning down to kiss her softly again. "Okay."

Janet blushed. "I feel silly, being nervous about this. Especially given everything we've done in our lives."

"You're not the only one feeling nervous - not by a long shot," Elizabeth assured her. "And we may have done a lot of other things, but um. Not like this."

"I'm glad it's not just me." Janet met Liz's eyes. "That's true. Never anything like this." She glanced at the padded cuffs on the nightstand, and then back at Liz. "So, um. How did you want to do this? I think your arms above your head while laying down would be the most comfortable."
