Friday afternoon - Around and about

Elizabeth might have already been for a short walk this morning. But this walk was for the purpose of seeing what she could photograph for her workshop and Janet was coming with.

So, after the fun at the beach workshop, she headed back to the cabin to pick up her camera once more.

"About this? Nothing," said Janet, shaking her head. "The cuffs were a little more nerve-wracking."

"Just a bit," Elizabeth admitted. She looked at Janet shyly as she dipped her finger in the paint. "But I'd do it again," she admitted quietly.

Janet smiled up at her. "I'd like to," she said. Then, just as shyly as Liz. "You could try them on me some time. If you wanted."

"Uh, yeah, okay," Elizabeth said, ducking her head slightly. "And I meant it about the tying up as well. I think."

"Only if you wanted," said Janet. "You think? Okay. I mean, it can wait."

"Well, I've been tied up before and it has negative conatations at the moment," Elizabeth explained. "But you could make it a good thing."

"I know. It's why I didn't want to push. Well, that and never having done it before." Janet blushed faintly. "I'd like that. If it worked out that way."

"I've never done anything like this before," Elizabeth confessed. "We won't know unless we try it, right?"

"Me either," said Janet. "It's new to both of us. And you're right."

"Well, that's good," Elizabeth said, smiling slightly. "And it's good that we can discuss these things with each other about things we, um, want to try."

"It is? How come?" asked Janet. "That is good, if slightly embarrassing. Was there anything else that you wanted to try? Besides the body paint?"

"Because it means that I don't feel all naive and we're learning together," Elizabeth admitted shyly. She blushed. "Um. On the beach."

"I still feel naive. But better that we're learning together." Janet bit her lip. "On the beach? That's very, um. Almost public."

"Well, yeah. I do too. But not as much as I would have done if you'd have had experience with this sort of stuff," Elizabeth explained. She looked down at Janet shyly. "I know. I guess I just want to be a bit more daring and risky this time around."

"I'd have felt that way if you'd had the experience. This is better." Janet did not wonder aloud what kind of experience Daniel had. She smiled at Liz. "It's fun. Being more daring and risky."

"It is," Elizabeth nodded. She smiled, biting at her lip. "It doesn't necessarily have to be a beach, I guess."

"No, I definitely don't mind the beach," said Janet. "At least, not as long as you help me with my sunscreen."

Elizabeth smiled. "Oh, I definitely think I can help you with that," she said. "And will you help me with mine?"

"Me too," Elizabeth assured her, the body paint all but forgotten as she placed it on the bed next to them and leant down to gently kiss Janet again.
