Elizabeth figured that she was probably going to have to apologize to her roommates.

Considering that her notes had somehow taken over the room.

There was Medieval English history there and US Government thataway and psych was somewhere in that direction.

Not to mention everything she was ever going to need for the political campaigning presention, which she was currently reviewing. Again

At least they were colorful notes?

"Either nothing will go wrong, or something you didn't prepare for will go wrong," said Janet. She shook her head. "That's how this sort of thing always seems to work. And yes, thank you! Now I don't have to worry about accidentally causing you a failing grade by losing your notes in my sleep."

Elizabeth nodded. "But no one can say I didn't prepare and that's the most important thing," she said firmly. Her eyes widened, and she pressed the hand not holding notes to her heart. "Janet, don't scare me like that, please."

"No one will ever say you didn't prepare, Liz," said Janet. She glanced around at the room. "You should clear Marty's bed off too." And then she giggled. "You'll be fine! As long as you don't sleepwalk and reorganize your notes."

Elizabeth nodded, and looked at Marty's bed. "That's my political campaiging presentation," she said. "That can go away ready for tomorrow." She stood up, placed the notes she'd collected somewhere on her own bed, and rearranged her presentation back in it's folder.

"So are you going to relax some time tonight?" asked Janet. "Or are you going to just stress over school for the next week and a half?"

Elizabeth bit her lip, and looked down at her notes and then across at Janet. "Is this your way of telling me that I should calm down and relax tonight?"

"It's just a suggestion," said Janet reassuringly. "I'd like to think it's a good one."

Elizabeth thought for a moment. "Well, everything that needs to be written is written, and I don't have my government exam until Friday..." She was about to drop down on her bed, before remembering that it was still covered in notes and straightened up again. "So I guess I could take some time tonight."

"Come sit down over here," said Janet, patting a spot on her bed. "You're going to ace all your classes; I don't know why you're worried."

Elizabeth left the folder and notes and dropped down in the spot indicated. "I get worked up before exams," she said. "Always have done, and, with the way this is going? Probably always will."

"Focusing on them is fine," said Janet. She smiled gently. "But do you want me to start going into the many ways too much stress is bad for you? You are allowed to take a break, you know."

Elizabeth nodded, and shuffled slightly so she could lay her head on Janet's shoulder. "This is a whole lot stressful than other things in my life though," she pointed out.

"That terrifies me," said Janet, putting her arm around Liz. "What else do you have going on that's more stressful?"

"Nothing specifically at the moment," Elizabeth admitted. "But give it time, and I'm sure the AF or the government can come up with something for me."

"There's no point in worrying about it, then, is there?" asked Janet. She smiled. "You need to relax. Anything I can do to help?"

"I'm not. Honestly," Elizabeth promised. She moved her head slightly to look up at Janet. "This is nice. Just sitting here with you."

"Good. What's the point of worrying about something that hasn't actually happened?" asked Janet. She brushed a stray lock of Liz's hair back. "We can keep doing this. Trust me, I'm in no hurry to get back to writing my ACJ paper."

"Well, depending on what it is and if you know it's going to happen," Elizabeth began, before shrugging slightly. "Not applicable here, so I'm not going to think about it." She smiled. "Good. When's your ACJ paper due in?"

"No, it's not, and you don't know, so I'm glad you're not going to worry about it." Janet frowned over at her desk. "Next week, actually, but I'm trying to get it finished early."

"That's always a good plan," Elizabeth said. "Just about everything I've got to hand in is completed."

"I've got my Classics project nearly complete, Paleo's final is a field trip to a nearby dig, so that should be nice and chaotic easy enough, I'm not worried about Western Civ in the least, and Tactics should be pretty good too. So I'm really just trying to get this ACJ essay and my Journalistic Integrity interview done." Janet paused, then added, "We're a little focused, aren't we?"

"Website went in for speech today, finished my Foreign Lit paper yesterday, political campaigning presentation is in the folder and my psych project is *so handwavily* finished. So it's really government and Medieval English history around," Elizabeth said. She grinned. "Possibly. Yes. You're right. I do need to calm down a bit."

Janet laughed. "If you feel like sitting up, I'll rub your shoulders. That should help you calm down, right?"
