Elizabeth figured that she was probably going to have to apologize to her roommates.

Considering that her notes had somehow taken over the room.

There was Medieval English history there and US Government thataway and psych was somewhere in that direction.

Not to mention everything she was ever going to need for the political campaigning presention, which she was currently reviewing. Again

At least they were colorful notes?

"Website went in for speech today, finished my Foreign Lit paper yesterday, political campaigning presentation is in the folder and my psych project is *so handwavily* finished. So it's really government and Medieval English history around," Elizabeth said. She grinned. "Possibly. Yes. You're right. I do need to calm down a bit."

Janet laughed. "If you feel like sitting up, I'll rub your shoulders. That should help you calm down, right?"

"I think I can manage to sit up," Elizabeth said, grinning as she did so. "Thanks, hon."

"Any time," said Janet, blushing a little at the 'hon.' She settled her hands on Liz's shoulders and started pushing gently against the muscles, trying to find where the knots were. "Poor Daniel caught a cold after Saturday night."

Elizabeth didn't see the blush as she turned around, sighing. "That feels good," she said. "He did? Okay, now I feel slightly guilty."

"It is supposed to," said Janet, smiling. She found a particularly large knot and pressed against it with her thumb. "Me too. He'll be fine, though. I went over and checked."

"Mmm hmm, I know," Elizabeth murmured. "It's just a cold, right? How badly did he elevate it to?"

"Is that better?" asked Janet softly. She had one hand along either side of Liz's spine now, and was working her way down, trying to smooth out tension as she went along. "Just a cold. He was convinced it was going to develop into something worse for a while there. He didn't seem too amused when I told him if he developed pneumonia and died again, he could haunt me until he came back."

"Oh yeah," Elizabeth sighed, definitely feeling much more relaxed. She giggled. "I bet he wasn't. Are you sure you'd appreciate Daniel haunting you? Although, yeah, I admit it would probably only be for a couple of days."

"Good," murmured Janet, pressing the heel of her palm to Liz's lower back. "Lean forward a bit?" She grinned sheepishly. "He owes me. He didn't haunt me at all when he was Ascended. And it really wouldn't be for all that long, you're right."

Elizabeth did as she was told without a murmur. "Surely not being haunted is a good thing? Or maybe he did and he doesn't want to tell you because he was hanging around the women's locker room or something?"

Janet shifted so that she could massage the base of Liz's spine. And maybe her fingers dipped below the waistband of Liz's pants a few times too. "He reportedly only was there when people's lives were in danger, which mine never was. He said something about how if he'd come to see me, he'd never leave. Though who know, Daniel being Daniel, maybe he was just peeping in the women's locker room."

Elizabeth shivered slightly, making small noises of contment. She maybe leant forward even more so her shirt rose up at the back. "Well, if he did only come then, it's a good thing you didn't see him," she grinned. "Maybe you should ask him and see how red he gets?"

Janet smiled at the noises Liz was making. She could certainly take a hint. She traced her fingertips under the edge of Liz's waistband, before moving to massage where her shirt had moved to leave bare skin. "It is, I suppose. I missed him, though." She giggled. "He'd be red as a beet. That would be funny."

"Your hands are warm," Elizabeth smiled, her eyes closed. "I know you did, hon. It's only natural that you would have done. It would be! Ask him when I'm around. And Sam too. I'm sure she'll appreciate it as well."

"It seems like I'm helping," said Janet. "It was a harder year than most. And I'm only asking him with you guys around if you bring a camera! If he says yes, Sam'll kill him."

"You are. Very much so," Elizabeth sighed. "Of course I'll have a camera! And if she does, then you might get that haunting you were talking about!"

"I'm glad to hear that." Janet inched her hands up Liz's back, still looking for knots to massage out. Underneath her shirt this time, though. "I think I'd rather have him here and alive, to be honest."

"Would this be easier if I laid down?" Elizabeth asked innocently. "I know you would. Maybe we could persuade Sam not to kill him? Or maybe he's not done anything, and doesn't need killing in the first place."

"Hm." Janet pretended to think about it, just letting her hands rest on Liz's back while she did. "I think it probably would be easier, yes." She nodded. "I think we could talk Sam out of killing him. She doesn't want to sit through another memorial service."

"Okay then," Elizabeth smiled, twisting around. She crawled further up the bed before lying down on her stomach, supporting her head with her hands. "Is this okay?"

"I really don't blame her for that. How many memorial services has he had already?"

"Much better," said Janet, moving to straddle Liz so she could keep going with the massage. "Where do you have the most tension now?"

"Two, I think." Janet frowned. "I'm pretty sure. I don't know if he died while I was away or not."

"Upper shoulders still," Elizabeth said softly.

She thought. "Not in any of the files I read," she said. "Of course, that obviously doesn't include what happened when I was in Atlantis."

"Upper shoulders it is, then," said Janet, her voice low. She leaned forward, keeping her upper body away from Liz's back, and started working at the knots she found there. "You know, this would work a lot better if I could work directly on your back."

"I could ask him, I suppose," said Janet. "I'm not sure if I really want to know the answer, though."

"That wouldn't be a problem," Elizabeth said quietly. "Move a bit, and I'll get rid of the shirt."

"Hmm, possibly not. Just leave it and let it be?"
