Elizabeth figured that she was probably going to have to apologize to her roommates.

Considering that her notes had somehow taken over the room.

There was Medieval English history there and US Government thataway and psych was somewhere in that direction.

Not to mention everything she was ever going to need for the political campaigning presention, which she was currently reviewing. Again

At least they were colorful notes?

"It seems like I'm helping," said Janet. "It was a harder year than most. And I'm only asking him with you guys around if you bring a camera! If he says yes, Sam'll kill him."

"You are. Very much so," Elizabeth sighed. "Of course I'll have a camera! And if she does, then you might get that haunting you were talking about!"

"I'm glad to hear that." Janet inched her hands up Liz's back, still looking for knots to massage out. Underneath her shirt this time, though. "I think I'd rather have him here and alive, to be honest."

"Would this be easier if I laid down?" Elizabeth asked innocently. "I know you would. Maybe we could persuade Sam not to kill him? Or maybe he's not done anything, and doesn't need killing in the first place."

"Hm." Janet pretended to think about it, just letting her hands rest on Liz's back while she did. "I think it probably would be easier, yes." She nodded. "I think we could talk Sam out of killing him. She doesn't want to sit through another memorial service."

"Okay then," Elizabeth smiled, twisting around. She crawled further up the bed before lying down on her stomach, supporting her head with her hands. "Is this okay?"

"I really don't blame her for that. How many memorial services has he had already?"

"Much better," said Janet, moving to straddle Liz so she could keep going with the massage. "Where do you have the most tension now?"

"Two, I think." Janet frowned. "I'm pretty sure. I don't know if he died while I was away or not."

"Upper shoulders still," Elizabeth said softly.

She thought. "Not in any of the files I read," she said. "Of course, that obviously doesn't include what happened when I was in Atlantis."

"Upper shoulders it is, then," said Janet, her voice low. She leaned forward, keeping her upper body away from Liz's back, and started working at the knots she found there. "You know, this would work a lot better if I could work directly on your back."

"I could ask him, I suppose," said Janet. "I'm not sure if I really want to know the answer, though."

"That wouldn't be a problem," Elizabeth said quietly. "Move a bit, and I'll get rid of the shirt."

"Hmm, possibly not. Just leave it and let it be?"

"That's easily done," said Janet, shifting to let Liz get her shirt off.

"I think that's the best thing to do," said Janet, nodding.

Elizabeth made quick work of her buttons and shrugged the shirt off, leaving her clad only in her bra. "Should this come off too?" she asked innocently.

Janet's gaze flickered down over Liz's figured. She pressed her lips together, but couldn't repress her smile entirely. "I think it would certainly make things less complicated, yes," she said, hopefully managing to sound at least slightly professional.

Elizabeth smiled as she reached behind her and undid the clasp. Tossing the bra somewhere, she looked shyly across at Janet. "Is this better?"

"Much better," said Janet, dragging her gaze up to Liz's eyes. She nodded at the bed. "Lay back down now, so I can get started again."

"Okay," Elizabeth said, pulling her hair across her neck to one side as she lay back down.

"Mmm," said Janet, straddling Liz again and leaning over to start massaging her shoulders. "Do you listen to all your doctors this well, or is it just me?"

Elizabeth grinned. "Just you," she admitted. "Carson would be very surprised to see me agreeing so easily."

"I'm cuter than he is," said Janet, leaning over more and brushing her hands gently across Liz's shoulders, looking for more knots. "Though I suspect he can be just as dictatorial as me."

"You are, most definitely," Elizabeth agreed, relaxing into the bed. "And I'm sure you're better at that too."

"I suppose it depends on who you ask," said Janet, running her nails lightly down Liz's spine. "What do you think?"

"Well, if you're asking me, then you're definitely cuter," Elizabeth smiled. "I've yet to have been ordered around by you yet. Although I think I'm less likely to argue with you."

"I was definitely asking you," said Janet, smiling. "Yet, anyway. And much less likely. After all, I remember you saying I would be able to get you to do my bidding."

"I think if you ordered me to bed, I'm much more likely to oblige," Elizabeth said. She smiled slowly. "I did say that, didn't I?"

"You know, I think I might have a little more incentive than Carson does," said Janet. She leaned down to murmur in Liz's ear, her--regrettably, still clothed--chest brushing against Liz's back. "I distinctly remember it, yes."
