Elizabeth had some of Jack's caffiene package when she woke up.

Bad plan.

She was all but bouncing around the room, waiting for Cameron to turn up and the others to wake up so they could go running.

She eyed her water bottle, and then looked across at Janet's bed.

No.

Twice would be pushing it.

She snickered. "I believe you."

She rocked back and forwards on her toes. "I don't know... maybe to Serenity Cove?"

"Sounds good to me. Haven't really checked that place out. You like it there?" He totally wasn't fishing for details. At all. Nope.

"Actually, I've not been there myself. Heard it mentioned before by people, so I figure it's got to have something going for it," she grinned. "Besides, come winter, we're probably not going to want to do as many waterside runs, so we should ger them in now!"

"Good point. I forgot it was so late in the year. Can't believe I missed out on summer and all of 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003 and 2004. Gonna have to figure out if there's anything good on the other side of town too, any tracks worth checking out."

She smiled sympathetically. "Yeah, I was in Atlantis elsewhere for it as well... not quite as bad as you, I admit.

The fell past the church is pretty good... I've gone there a couple of time by myself."

"Cool. Have to check that out. What's past that? I haven't gone for a walk that far out."

"Past the fell? Just the road off the island as far as I know."

"Hmm. Okay." There had to be more to the island that what he'd seen. The plots demanded it. "Serenity Cove sounds like a good start." If they didn't have Ethics so early, he would have invited her to breakfast. Or lunch, but after class things were going to get a mite trickier. *insert maniacal laughter here*

"It might just be more land waiting for developers?" she suggested. "The town's pretty small, but it's been growing, so unused land wouldn't surprise me."

"Oh that'd be cool. There's a bunch of stuff in town I haven't seen yet. I hear an ice rink might be opening up. I'd try to get a job there, but I think with hockey and the TA job and everything else I'd get swamped. Doesn't mean I won't be there a lot anyway." He grinned.

"Really? That would be cool. I've not skated in years. I think the last time must have been... no, I skated at the Rockefeller Center on one of my first visits to New York after I graduated. But still," she laughed. "It's been a while."

"We should go when it opens up. If you want to. I love to skate, whether I've got a hockey stick in my hands or not."

She smiled at him. "Yeah, that would be nice. I'd like that."

"Cool." He grinned and then threw a pillow in Janet's general direction.

Elizabeth giggled. "I'm distancing myself from any attempts to wake anyone up," she said, holding up her hands.

"Jaaaanet," Charlie cooed. "Jaaaaaaaaanet. If you don't wake up, I'm gonna start singing.."

She snickered. "Oh, please don't! For the sake of my ears!"

Charlie grinned and got up. He walked over to Liz and lowered his voice so only she could hear. "And wake Jack and Aeryn? I don't have a deathwish. But Janet doesn't need to know that."

She giggled. "Oh good. That's a good thing to know."

"You reckon they'll wake up? It's not THAT early."

Elizabeth checked her watch. "It depends on your definition of early. But if we want to get a decent run in, and shower before ethics..." she trailed off.

Charlie got out his Ninja Gun (another gift from Jack) and loaded it. He fired it and it catapulted several plastic ninjas at Janet.

Elizabeth grabbed her pillow and laughed into it.

"Super secret ninja attack!" Charlie whispered. "If she doesn't wake up, I'm sending in the seals.. and I don't mean the Navy guys. I'm sure we can find a slimy seal around here somewhere."

Elizabeth just laughed even harder into her pillow. "Check the basement," she whispered. "Maybe Sunshine has a little friend."
