Elizabeth had some of Jack's caffiene package when she woke up.

Bad plan.

She was all but bouncing around the room, waiting for Cameron to turn up and the others to wake up so they could go running.

She eyed her water bottle, and then looked across at Janet's bed.

No.

Twice would be pushing it.

"I'm awake," Charlie grunted and rolled out of bed, this time onto his feet rather than his face. He was a little stiff from last night's hockey practice. He hadn't fallen over, but his muscles did get a good work out. It was hockey season now as far as he was concerned, and that meant staying fit.. even if he had to go running early again.

Elizabeth grinned at him. "'Bout time you joined us one morning! How did hockey go last night? I was going to come and heckle support, but I was reading, and then I wasn't because I'd fallen asleep..."

Charlie got up in nothing but boxer shorts and stumbled over to his locker. He got out a shirt and pulled it over his head, then fumbled around for a pair of shorts and a pair of socks. "Hockey was great. Good turn out. We've got enough for two teams of six, plus a bench warmer for each team. Hardly anyone can play, but it'll be fun once they can skate. I'm pretty excited about it."

Elizabeth watched him cross the room with interest.

"Well, skating's not too difficult, surely? Maybe you should get a load of bins for them to lean on whilst they practise?" she giggled.

"I'm thinkin' training wheels or something." He pulled out running shoes and closed the locker, then crossed and dropped down onto one of his beds to put on his socks and shoes. "I'll probably take a couple of the guys skating next week. Can't this weekend. It's pretty full up. There's Rory's birthday party and the Ethics project and.. is the Plotting Zoo this weekend?"

"It is!" Elizabeth grinned, flopping back down on her bed. "It should be interesting, to say the least. Much more than my trip to the body farm, and hopefully better smelling too!

What ethics project? Did I miss something in class last week?"

"Umm.." Kawalsky did up his laces. "I got one of the TA positions. Professor Maclay's got a project lined up. Don't worry, I think you'll like the idea behind it, but I can't tell much about it."

"I will make you suffer," grumbled Janet from under the blanket. "No more water."

"No more water!" Elizabeth promised, holding up her empty hands. "Promise!"

Janet sits up, her hair a complete mess, and looks at Liz suspiciously. "I don't trust you not to talk someone else into it." She grins and shoves her hair back out of her face.

"I already told Charlie that whatever he did, I was not involved in," she says, her eyes wide and looking completely innocent. "I learnt my lesson last time."

"Hah!" exclaims Janet. "You're never innocent."

"Am too!" Elizabeth replies, sticking her tongue out at Janet.

Elizabeth bounced off her bed and moved to open it.

"Yo!" Cameron grinned as for once they were actually glad to see her. "You ready? Callisto and Crichton are joining us as she wants to interview us about the MFCD."

Elizabeth snickered. "An interview on the run, eh?"

"Something like it, yeah." Cameron chuckled.

"It's a miracle!" Cameron laughed and then looked innocent. "See, It was so not entirely my idea."

"Oh, you're just evil co-conspirators," said Janet. She straightened up and glanced at the door. "Everyone's ready?"
