Despite having been raised in New England, Elizabeth didn't really like snow. It was fine for skiing, say, but she was quite happy staying inside in the warmth and watching the snow from her window.

One might accuse her of hiding, but she'd prefer to call it strategic concealment.

Elizabeth grinned, kissing down. "He didn't!"

Janet made a strangled sound as she twisted one hand in the blankets. "Oh, God, yes," she said, not mentioning what she was referring to.

"Citrus? Needles?" She heard Rodney snapping his fingers. "Wait, you're Dr. Fraiser! Wait, aren't you dead?"

Elizabeth smirked as she ran her tongue through slick wetness.

Janet twisted against the bed, arching toward Elizabeth and biting the side of her cheek so she didn't cry out. "I'm not. Dead. Anymore," she said.

"Oh, yes, uh, well, obviously--" She could hear as Rondney flailed momentarily. "Have you been talking to Dr. Jackson? Have you gotten over your unfortunate obsession with citrus products?"

"Definitely not dead," murmured Elizabeth, her mouth closing over Janet's clit.

"Where is Elizabeth, anyway?" asked Rodney. "Why aren't you saying anything? Are you mad at me still?"

Elizabeth sucked gently as she slipped one finger inside Janet.

"Yes," said Janet, biting her lips to control the quaver in her voice. "Of course I'm still mad at you. You're neurotic, and you're an arrogant bastard. Also, if you start making disparaging comments about medical science again, I'm going to send a horrible plague to infect you."

Rodney gulped loudly. "You can really do that?"

Elizabeth giggled softly as she added another finger.

"Oh, yes," said Janet, her back arching as she tried desperately to keep her voice normal. "And I'll do it, too."

"That's, um--" Rodney cleared his throat. "You're mean!"

"Oh, yes," said Janet.

"Really, really mean," continued Rodney. "Look, Elizabeth there or not? And if she's not, is she coming?"

Janet convulsed against the bed, her eyes squeezed and her mouth clamped shut as she shuddered and came against Elizabeth. "She's here," Janet said, her voice slightly breathless. "I just don't know if she wants to talk to you."

"Well, of course she wants to talk to me," said Rodney. "Why wouldn't she?"

"Liz, do you want to talk to Rodney McKay?" asked Janet, glancing down at Elizabeth with a smile.

"I'm a little busy at the moment," said Elizabeth innocently, trailing kisses back up Janet's body.

"She says she's busy," said Janet, suppressing a giggle as she slid her hand down Elizabeth's back. "So did you really call about her birthday, or is the world about to end again?"

"The world is not about to end!" snapped Rodney. "Honestly, why would you thik something like that."

Elizabeth smiled as she delicately ran her tongue around Janet's nipple. "I bet he's done something stupid," she murmured.

Janet reached down and traced her fingers along the curve of Elizabeth's ass. "Have you done something stupid?" she asked Rodney.

"You don't need to ask me!" huffed Rodney. "I heard that! How is it that Elizabeth is that close to the phone?"

Elizabeth gasped slightly, before suppressing her giggles between Janet's breasts.

"Liz, put me out of my misery and let the man wish you a happy birthday," said Janet. She trailed her nails lightly back up the same path.

"Yes, and everyone else here is getting very impatient," snapped Rodney.

Elizabeth sighed and reached out for the phone, kissing Janet one last time. "Hello, Rodney," she said.

"Elizabeth, there you are!" said Rodney brightly. "How is it that Dr. Fraiser The Terrible is answering your phone? And, oh, yes, happy birthday, by the way."

Janet rolled her eyes and scooted down, pressing soft kisses against Elizabeth's chest.

"She's my roommate," said Elizabeth simply, her eyes fluttering closed. "And thank you."

"Oh," said Rodney. "So you're friends with her, even though she's a tyrant? Yes, there are a bunch of us here who wanted to say hi, since you don't seem to write to us."

Janet lifted her head from Elizabeth's breast. "I heard that, Rodney," she said warningly.

"She's not a tyrant to me," said Elizabeth, slightly smugly. "And I do write. Um. Did write. I've been busy."

Janet snickered. "I'm not a tyrant because you're not an ass," she murmured, leaning down and licking delicately at Elizabeth's nipple.

"Please," said Rodney. "How busy do they keep you in high school? I'm reading an IP address coming from your room, and a webcam attached to it. It should be active in a few minutes so we can all talk."
