239/240 - morning

It was the first weekend in Fandom for a while.

So, Elizabeth figured that she was allowed to take it easy.

Her homework was done; although that wasn't hard as she'd lost two classes in the past two weeks. She was very glad that she'd picked up Western Lit to keep her timetable from being too sparse.

So, she had a box of chocolates open, she had a good book and she had Madonna playing. Really, what more did she need?

"He talked about..." Her voice and eyes were hard. "I am going to kill him."

Cameron winced. "Sorry. I didn't ask more, it's er... it's up to you what you tell people."

"The fact that he spoke of it in ethics class, and then told you that he spoke of it! Seriously, does the word "classified" not mean anything to him?! I'm going to kill him. Or if not kill him, make sure that he's never going to be able to reproduce," Elizabeth ranted, showing no sign that she even heard Cameron.

Cameron blinked and decided letting Liz just rant might be a better idea.

"I mean, it's not exactly the most complicated principle ever invented. Don't tell anyone. I. Am. Going. To. Kill. Him."

"No, it isn't." Cameron tried to reassure her.

She looked across at him, visibly deflating. "I'm sorry, Cam. I didn't mean to go off on you like that."

He shrugged. "It's alright, it's classified. I'm starting to get to know what it means."

"Yeah, and you'd probably keep it classified too," she said, falling back on her bed, sighing.

"I try," he said gently and looked at her. He was curious, but he didn't want to push her either.

She looked across at him, sighing again. "You've got questions, haven't you." It wasn't a question.

Cameron nodded and gave her a wry smile. "You don't have to tell me anything."

"I'd love to answer them, but I can't," she replies, with a small smile. "Thank you for understanding though."

Cameron nodded and gave her a smile back. "Sure," he said as he sat up.

"So..." Elizabeth began. "Back to the book? Or are we going to talk about my future presidency?"

Cameron snickered. "I actually should get ready for work."

She nodded. "Okay, you go do that then. And I'll catch you later?"

"Yeah, Sam called me to ask if I wanted to go help out paint doctor Jackson's apartment. I might go there," He said as he stood up. "If I'm not too tired anyway."
