Elizabeth quickly grabbed a menu, hiding her smile behind it. "We normally do."

"We're very good at that," nodded Janet, taking a menu and poring over it. "I'm sure that your doctor would be relieved to hear it, though."

"I'm sure she would," Elizabeth nodded. "She's a big fan of me engaging in high cardio-vascular activities. Or something."

"She sounds like she knows what she's talking about," said Janet, looking serious. "I'm sure she's trying to ward off future health problems."

"She does. She's one of the smartest people I know," Elizabeth said, nodding still.

A faint blush crept along Janet's cheeks. "I'm sure she'd disagree."

"Probably. But that's because she's really modest too," Elizabeth said, smiling slightly.

"You never know. Maybe she's just trying to be fair." Janet looked down at the menu. "Make sure everyone gets the credit they deserve."

"But then she never takes enough credit for herself," Elizabeth said, biting her lip thoughtfully as she turned the page.

"I'm sure she's just doing what she can when she can," said Janet, blushing more strongly by now.

Elizabeth leaned across the table conspirationally. "She's not fooling anyone. And she's also very cute when she blushes."

"Even herself?" asked Janet dryly. And blushingly.

"Well, you'd have to ask her that," Elizabeth said lightly.

"That might look a little funny if I tried," said Janet, completely avoiding the issue.

Elizabeth rolled her eyes slightly, directing her attention back to the menu once more.

Janet stuck her tongue out at Liz. "So what are you ordering?" she asked curiously.

"Bacon cheeseburger and a chocolate milkshake, I think," Elizabeth said, not seeing the tongue. "You?"

"Plain cheeseburger, cheddar fries, and a strawberry milkshake," said Janet, flipping her menu closed. "Do we have any exciting weekend plans?"

"I have a sneaking suspicion we'll spend most of Saturday in the dorms still," Elizabeth said innocently.

"Do you think so?" asked Janet. "That might be boring." She sounded worried, anyway.

"I'm pretty sure we can make sure that it's not," Elizabeth said, smiling sweetly as she gave their orders to the server.

"Do you think we can come up with something interesting?" asked Janet hopefully.

"I think if we put our heads together and think about it, we can come up with several activites to keep ourselves busy in the dorm room for an entire day," Elizabeth said.

"I think we might be creative enough to do that." Janet nodded in agreement, and then looked around. "I need to order coffee too, I think."

Elizabeth grinned. "Why doesn't that surprise me?" she asked. "I think I'm gonna grab a take-away from the Perk to walk back to school with."
