"You're disgustingly accomplished," said Janet. She lowered her head and kissed Liz softly. "We nearly ran into each other in the mess and she told me that it helped if I looked where I was going."

"I do try," murmured Elizabeth against Janet's mouth. "That was a coincidence. Do you think we have some sort of magnetism going on between us?"

"You more than succeed," said Janet, biting softly on Liz's lower lip. "A weird one. Who do you think has some sort of magnetism? You and me? You and her?"

"You and me," sighed Elizabeth. "No matter what bodies we're in."

"Just making sure." Janet giggled. "She thought it was weird that I was unaccompanied, much less that I was reading one of my medical journals. I don't know, but--maybe? But how would that happen?"

"You're the biologist," suggested Elizabeth, grinning. "She interrupted you in the middle of one of your journals?"

"I'm already formulating theories, silly. I just wanted to see if you had any ideas before I shared mine," said Janet. She nodded emphatically. "She did, and I hadn't slept in two days, and I was waiting for test results. She just sat down at the table across from me after that and started talking to me."

"How dare she talk to you!" exclaimed Elizabeth in mock horror.

Janet stuck her tongue out at Liz. "She wanted to get to know me, which would be fine, except we were in the middle of a lockdown." Janet smiled ruefully as she rolled her eyes. "And I gave her a hard time. Especially because she's very observant and noticed disprepancies in my attitude as opposed to my physical age."

Elizabeth just laughed as she kissed Janet. "I am pretty smart," she said.

"And determined," said Janet, tucking a strand of hair behind Liz's ear. "I think I got her annoyed when I started laughing at her, but she sounded so much like you."

"And you thought she wouldn't?" asked Elizabeth, highly amused.

"I hadn't slept in two days!" exclaimed Janet. "I was trying to cure a genetically engineered Wraith retrovirus without any genetic samples of Wraith DNA!"

"You still managed it," said Elizabeth proudly.

"I'm very good at what I do," said Janet. She grinned. "Also, when they called in from Atlantis to check in, I bullied my way into getting the necessary information. Elizabeth was trying not to laugh at me for that conversation." Janet pouted.

"Oh?" asked Elizabeth curiously, still very amused.

"Carson called me a 'wee young slip of a lass,'" muttered Janet. "That was after three and a half days with no sleep."

Elizabeth tried not to laugh.

And failed miserably.

"I hate you," muttered Janet.

"I had a month of him," pointed out Elizabeth, running her hands through Janet's hair as she kissed her. "And I know you don't mean that."

"Of course I don't mean it," sighed Janet, pressing their bodies together. "Was he that bad for the whole month?"

Elizabeth gasped slightly. "Thankfully no. He did get bored of it after a while," she said. "Also, I think John started to threaten him a bit."

"He's lucky I wasn't there. Do you know what kind of hell I put Mackenzie through?" Janet smirked at the thought, and ran her hands lightly across Liz's skin. "The John from our universe, not the one that showed up here with you? Or the adult one?"

Elizabeth sighed happily at the touch. "The adult one," she said. "From my universe, I was the only one affected by this."

"Mmm, given everything you've told me, I'm glad it was just you affected," said Janet. She skimmed her palm along Liz's breast. "I know that's not very nice of me."
