Janet shifted in her sleep, half-woke, and wrapped her arms around Liz. "You're back," she murmured.

Elizabeth placed a gentle kiss to the top of Janet's head. "Yeah, honey," she whispered. "Go back to sleep. It's early; I'll still be here when you wake up."

Janet smiled at Liz, her eyes still closed. "It's been a week," she said, tightening her grip. "Don't want to sleep if you're back."

"I know, sweetie," replied Elizabeth, snuggling closer. "But when the president tells me to jump, I've still got to ask 'how high'?"

"S'fine," said Janet, leaning over and kissing Liz on the--well, she was aiming for Liz's cheek. Or mouth. But her eyes were still closed. "I get it. They do it to me too, remember?"

"Mmm, yeah," smiled Elizabeth against Janet's mouth as she returned the kiss. "Still pretty frustrating though." One hand traced down Janet's back. "I missed you."

"I missed you too," said Janet, shivering. "What'd he want you for, anyway?"

"Mmmm, I was the only one he could get from a team I was on a few years back," explained Elizabeth, her fingers dipping slightly underneath Janet's waistband. "He wanted first hand knowledge of a situation and area and I'm afraid that not even your security clearance will cover anymore details, honey."

Janet stuck her tongue out at Liz. "Did you see me asking for details?" she asked, opening her eyes and pouting.

"No, because you're a good girl," smiled Elizabeth, kissing Janet's pouting lips.

"I am, aren't I?" asked Janet, smiling. "That's a shame. Good can be boring."

"Honey, you're anything but boring," drawled Elizabeth. "Trust me on that."

"I trust you about anything," said Janet, sliding her hands under the hem of Liz's shirt. "I thought you knew that?"

"Mmm, I do normally. I guess I'm just a bit fuzzy-headed and jet-lagged," murmured Elizabeth, shifting closer.

"You weren't any place dangerous, were you?" asked Janet, lifting herself up to look at Liz worriedly.

"The only danger I was in was from boredom," promised Elizabeth.

Janet breathed a sigh of relief. "Good."

Not that she'd spent a large portion of the week worrying. Of course not.

"Hayes made me do SAT prep," pouted Elizabeth.

"He's more evil than the Goa'uld," said Janet, leaning over and kissing Liz. "Honey, you still had a better time than me. I thought I was Broots for an entire weekend."

Elizabeth's eyes widened. "Okay, that's weird," she said. "Gremlin?"

"No bite marks," said Janet. "I have no idea. I'd rather have done SAT prep, and I know we're both going to get nearly perfect scores."

"Very weird," said Elizabeth, moving down so her lips were brushing against Janet's neck. "Want bite marks now?" she murmured. Her eyebrow raised. "Nearly perfect, dear?"

"The scoring machine might make a mistake," said Janet, shivering. "Bite marks from you would be nice."

"And that would definitely be a cause for complain," murmured Elizabeth, her tongue tracing a pattern on Janet's neck before her teeth gently bit at the skin. "Mmm. You taste good."
