OOC: Power

My stupidly-expensive replacement power cable for my laptop no longer works. As can be expected, one is not a happy camper.

I have no idea what's going to be happening now; hopefully my housemate will be able to do something technological with the old one. But I'm not replacing one from the same place (as I told the customer services representation I spoke to, I can't afford to pay that much money for something that doesn't actually work)
