Friday afternoon - Around and about

Elizabeth might have already been for a short walk this morning. But this walk was for the purpose of seeing what she could photograph for her workshop and Janet was coming with.

So, after the fun at the beach workshop, she headed back to the cabin to pick up her camera once more.

Elizabeth nodded, her arm slipping around Janet's shoulders and pulling her close. "I know," she said.

"Why aren't we there yet?" asked Janet, pouting, as they got nearer to the building.

"Because of stupidly extensive school grounds," Elizabeth grumped, trying not to look at the pout.

"What were they thinking?" asked Janet. "They were doing it just to foil us, weren't they?"

"Oh, absolutely," Elizabeth agreed as they reached the front entrance. "I'm so very glad we're only on the second floor."

"Otherwise we might do shocking things in the stairwells, and we can't have that," said Janet, giggling. "Or at least, we can't have that because we're likely to be interrupted."

Elizabeth brightened for a moment, smiling mischeviously. She sighed, chuckling slightly. "Would be fun though. At least until we got interrupted."

"Definitely not in the dorm stairwells," said Janet firmly. "We'd be mocked forever."

"Other stairwells?" Elizabeth suggested innocently, as they started up the stairs.

"Stairwells don't lock," said Janet. She frowned. "Which is a shame. But I think locks are important."

"I'm sure there have to be some stairwells that lock..."

"You're really evil, you know that?" asked Janet, trying to suppress a smile.

Elizabeth pouted. "I'm hurt."

Janet glanced around the stair well. "No, you're not," she said, leaning on the doorway to the second floor. She reached out to Liz, threading her fingers through Liz's hair, and pulled her close for a slow, deep kiss.

"Guh." Elizabeth's arms went immediately around Janet as she pressed against her.

"We should get to the room," said Janet, licking her lips as she broke their kiss and pulled back just enough to meet Liz's eyes.

"Yes. Quickly. Let's go," Elizabeth agreed, moving away from Janet.
